Olympic Games™

Pros

Instant live streaming and real-time coverage keep you connected to every moment of the Games. The app offers high-quality live video, instant highlights, and live scoring so you can watch events as they happen or catch up with on-demand replays and condensed recaps whenever it’s convenient.

Personalized news and in-depth athlete coverage make it easy to follow your favorite teams and competitors. The app curates breaking stories, interviews, and feature articles tailored to your interests, while push notifications alert you to major results, medal updates, and must-see moments.

Comprehensive schedules, real-time results, and detailed athlete profiles provide all the data fans want. Interactive features include event calendars, medal tables, venue maps, and shareable highlights, plus multilingual support and an intuitive interface that helps users plan viewing, set reminders, and compare historic stats.

Cons

The app locks much of its best content behind a subscription, limiting free users to ads and basic highlights. Aggressive advertising disrupts playback and searchability, and paywalls block full replays and exclusive interviews. That model can frustrate casual fans and reduce the app’s value compared with alternative free streaming sources.

During peak events the app may experience buffering, stream lag, and occasional crashes, especially on slower networks. Geo-restrictions also prevent live coverage in some regions, forcing users to rely on delayed clips instead of live broadcasts. Technical reliability issues can undermine the core live sports experience fans expect from an Olympics app.

Notification settings are limited and often deliver spoilers or irrelevant alerts, making it hard to follow specific athletes or events. The app’s personalization tools are basic, so recommendations and updates may not match user preferences. Excessive push notifications and weak filtering reduce engagement and make the app feel cluttered.
