Cons
High fees and pricing inconsistencies: The Albertsons Deals & Delivery app often adds delivery, service, and small-order fees, plus minimum order requirements. Prices for online orders and delivery can be higher than in-store, making savings unpredictable and reducing the value of advertised deals for budget-conscious shoppers.
Limited availability and scheduling: Delivery and pickup slots through the Albertsons Deals & Delivery app can be scarce in some regions, especially during peak hours and holidays. Same-day windows may sell out quickly, and coverage gaps mean not all stores offer full delivery or express options, limiting convenience for many users.
Substitutions, inventory errors, and customer support delays: The app sometimes shows inaccurate stock levels, leading to missing items or unsatisfactory substitutions. When orders are incorrect, reaching timely resolution can be frustrating due to slow in-app support or customer service responses, undermining trust in order accuracy and overall user experience.
