Pros
Ria Money Transfer offers broad global reach, serving over 160 countries with thousands of pickup locations. Users can choose cash pickup, bank deposit, mobile wallet delivery or home delivery where available, giving recipients flexible, convenient ways to receive funds — ideal for families, workers abroad and cross-border businesses.
The app delivers fast, reliable transfers — many corridors offer instant or same-day delivery — while maintaining competitive exchange rates and transparent, low fees. Multiple payment options (bank transfer, debit or credit card) and frequent promotions help keep costs down, making it affordable to send money internationally for personal or business needs.
Ria's secure, user-friendly app streamlines transfers with encrypted transactions, two-factor authentication and robust identity checks to meet regulatory standards. Real-time tracking, push notifications and detailed transaction history provide transparency, while in-app customer support and intuitive navigation make sending money simple for both first-time and experienced users.
Cons
Ria Money Transfer: Send Money app can be more expensive than competitors—transfer fees, card processing charges, and marked-up exchange rates add up. These combined costs can make small or frequent transfers less economical, and fees/rates often vary by corridor and payment method, so the true cost isn’t always clear upfront.
The app’s payout network and country coverage are limited in some corridors. Certain destinations only support cash pickup or lack local bank partners, which reduces convenience for recipients. In those regions transfers may take longer or require extra steps compared with services offering broader, faster payout options.
Account verification and fraud checks can cause delays, especially for new users or larger transfers, sometimes resulting in temporary holds. Users also report occasional app glitches or slow performance, and customer support response times can be inconsistent, making urgent problem resolution more difficult.
