myAir™

Pros

myAir gives nightly therapy scores and clear, personalized reports that track your sleep and CPAP usage over time. Visual trends and summaries make it easy to see progress, identify problem nights, and measure adherence—helpful for staying motivated and providing accurate data for your clinician.

The app delivers actionable coaching, personalized tips, and step-by-step troubleshooting for mask fit, comfort, and equipment care, including short how-to videos. Bite-sized guidance, reminders, and goal-setting help users resolve common issues quickly and improve nightly comfort and overall therapy effectiveness.

Seamless Bluetooth sync with ResMed devices, secure cloud storage, and easy sharing of therapy reports with clinicians or caregivers streamline care coordination. Canadian localization supports regional settings and assistance, while an intuitive interface simplifies tracking and makes it easier to maintain adherence and manage therapy remotely.

Cons

The app provides user-friendly summaries but lacks advanced, clinician-grade metrics and flexible export options. Users who need detailed event logs or raw therapy data may find the insights insufficient for medical review. This limitation makes myAir a helpful coach but not a complete substitute for professional sleep analysis.

Connectivity can be inconsistent, with occasional Bluetooth or Wi‑Fi sync failures and delays updating therapy records. Some older CPAP models or regional device variants aren’t fully supported, forcing manual checks or firmware updates. These compatibility issues can be frustrating and reduce the app’s reliability for daily therapy tracking.

The app collects sensitive sleep and health data, which raises privacy concerns for some users. Although ResMed maintains policies, options for granular control, local data residency, or clear third‑party sharing disclosures may be limited. Users wanting strict privacy or full control over their medical data may feel uneasy.
