PNC Mobile

Pros

PNC Mobile streamlines everyday banking with fast balance checks, mobile check deposit, bill pay, transfers, and clear transaction history. Deposit checks, send money with Zelle, schedule payments, and get instant push notifications—making account management effortless on the go without visiting a branch or waiting on customer service.

PNC Mobile provides strong security with biometric sign-in (Face ID/Touch ID), multi-factor authentication, real-time fraud alerts, and encrypted data transmission. In-app card controls let you lock or report cards instantly, reducing fraud risk and giving peace of mind when performing sensitive transactions from your smartphone.

PNC Mobile integrates Virtual Wallet tools and customizable budgeting features to track spending, set savings goals, and view upcoming bills. Personalized alerts and insights help you manage cash flow, while branch/ATM locators and in-app support make the app a comprehensive, user-friendly hub for everyday financial planning.

Cons

Some users report intermittent login problems, slow load times, or occasional crashes on iOS and Android. Biometric authentication can be inconsistent, forcing repeated password entry or full re-authentication. These reliability hiccups can disrupt timely access to accounts and frustrate customers who rely on quick mobile banking.

PNC Mobile’s built-in personal finance tools are fairly basic compared with dedicated budgeting apps. While it offers transaction categories and alerts, it lacks deep spending analysis, bill forecasting, and robust goal-tracking. Users seeking comprehensive financial planning or advanced budgeting features may find the app’s capabilities limited.

In-app customer support and help resources can be inconsistent for complex issues. Some users report slow response times from support and needing to call the bank for account-specific problems. Built-in FAQs and chat options don’t always resolve urgent or technical issues, prolonging the time to full problem resolution.
