Personalized investing and financial guidance make long-term goals achievable. Cons

Many core conveniences require a MoneyLion Plus or similar subscription, and services like instant cash advances, credit-builder loans, or expedited transfers often carry fees or high APRs. Frequent reliance on these paid features can quickly erode account balances compared with low-fee traditional bank alternatives.

Users sometimes encounter slow or inconsistent customer service and can face holds on deposits, ACH transfers, or card transactions. Problems that require urgent attention may take several days to resolve, frustrating customers who need immediate access to funds or fast dispute resolution.

While MoneyLion covers basic checking, savings, and investing, its savings rates and investment features may lag behind specialized high-yield banks and brokerages. Advanced traders will find limited research, fewer asset choices, and minimal trading tools, making the app less suitable for users seeking robust wealth-management capabilities.
