Granular privacy settings let you control who sees your profile and activity. Consistent moderation and community guidelines help maintain a respectful space for genuine connections.

Cons

Maybe You can request access to personal data and real-time location, raising privacy concerns. Ambiguous data-sharing practices, targeted advertising and potential security vulnerabilities mean users should carefully review permissions and privacy settings. Oversharing profile details or linking social accounts may expose sensitive information to third parties.

Like many dating platforms, Maybe You can host fake profiles and scammers that waste time or attempt financial fraud. Limited verification tools and inconsistent moderation may allow suspicious accounts to persist, forcing users to rely on caution, manual reporting and careful profile vetting to find genuine matches.

Significant features often require subscriptions or in-app purchases, leaving free users with restricted messaging, limited visibility and fewer daily matches. This paywall can frustrate casual users and reduce engagement, since useful tools—advanced filters, profile boosts and ad-free browsing—are typically gated behind recurring fees.
