myLidl

Pros

myLidl puts personalized coupons, weekly deals, and the Lidl Plus loyalty rewards right on your phone. Redeem digital vouchers at checkout, receive targeted discounts based on shopping habits, and browse the weekly ad to plan purchases — all helping you reduce grocery bills without clipping paper coupons.

The app streamlines shopping with features like a searchable store locator, real-time opening hours, a barcode scanner, digital receipts, and customizable shopping lists. Save favorite stores, track purchases and find items faster — making in-store visits and returns simpler while keeping purchase records organized on your phone.

myLidl helps you plan meals and discover new products via the up-to-date weekly catalog, recipe suggestions, and push notifications for local specials. Personalized recommendations and timely alerts let you snag limited-time deals and new items, turning browsing into an efficient way to try products and plan shopping trips.

Cons

Feature availability and functionality can vary widely by country, so users may not get the same digital coupons, loyalty benefits, or store services everywhere. This inconsistency frustrates customers who expect uniform features; some markets lack online ordering, personalized offers, or up-to-date store info that other regions receive.

Users sometimes encounter slow load times, intermittent bugs, or crashes—especially after big updates—which undermines the shopping experience. Account synchronization and login problems are also reported, causing lost loyalty points or vouchers. Support response can be slow, leaving customers waiting to resolve issues that affect in-store redemptions.

The app’s digital coupons and weekly offers can be confusing: vouchers may have short expiration windows, restrictive terms, or require manual activation, causing missed savings. Push notifications and promotional emails can feel excessive unless customized. Managing multiple coupons across stores sometimes requires extra steps compared with physical coupons.
