JetBlue

Pros

The JetBlue app streamlines booking and trip management, letting you search and reserve flights, build multi-city itineraries, add bags, select seats, and check in — all from your phone. Manage reservations, request changes or cancellations, and access your mobile boarding pass instantly for a smoother airport experience.

Receive real-time flight information and instant alerts about gate assignments, boarding times, delays, and cancellations. Push notifications keep you updated on schedule changes while live flight status and airport details help you plan connections and arrivals so you’re less likely to be surprised by last-minute disruptions.

Integrated TrueBlue features let you view and redeem points, track status, and access personalized offers and Mosaic benefits directly in the app. Saved traveler profiles, tailored deals, and quick access to upgrades or premium services make earning and using rewards effortless while simplifying repeat bookings and loyalty management.

Cons

Frequent users report occasional app instability—slow loading, freezes, or crashes—especially during peak travel times. These performance issues can interrupt bookings, check-ins, and boarding pass access, forcing users to switch to the website or call customer service. That unpredictability undermines convenience and can cause stress when time-sensitive actions are required.

JetBlue’s app can be limited when handling complex itineraries, codeshares, or partner airline bookings. Users often need to book or manage multi-city trips, award tickets, or partner segments through the website or by phone. This gap makes planning international or mixed-carrier travel less seamless and adds extra steps for travelers.

Pricing and add-on transparency can be inconsistent in the app: baggage fees, seat selection charges, and upgrade options are sometimes buried in the flow or added at checkout. Applying credits, vouchers, or certain payment methods may require contacting support, leading to surprises and less control over final trip costs.
