Cons

Instacart: Food delivery today can be costly. Delivery and service fees, tipping prompts, and surge pricing during busy times add up quickly. Many retailers also list higher prices on the platform than in-store, making final totals unpredictable and sometimes negating the convenience benefit of home delivery.

Orders placed through Instacart: Food delivery today sometimes arrive with missing items, poor substitutions, or produce that fails to meet quality expectations. Shopper selection varies by market, and resolving issues can require back-and-forth with customer support, delaying refunds or replacements and causing frustration for time-sensitive grocery needs.

Availability and delivery windows on Instacart: Food delivery today can be limited, especially in rural areas or during peak hours. Popular time slots fill quickly, leading to longer waits or no same-day options. Occasional app glitches, canceled orders, and variable shopper availability also make scheduling and reliability less consistent than in-store shopping.
