Pros
Fubo is a sports-first live TV service offering comprehensive live coverage of major leagues and international events, with dedicated sports channels, real-time scores and play-by-play. Its sports-centric guide surfaces games fast, making it easy to follow live action, highlights, and breaking sports news across multiple competitions.
Fubo's robust cloud DVR provides hundreds of hours of storage, so you can record multiple games and keep favorites for later. Simultaneous streaming across TVs, phones and web browsers lets family members watch different channels or recordings at the same time, reducing scheduling conflicts and ensuring nothing is missed.
Available on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Android, iOS and browsers, Fubo delivers a clean, responsive interface and broad device compatibility. Select events stream in 4K for sharper picture. Personalized alerts, searchable guides and user profiles help you discover relevant games, set reminders and jump straight into live action.
Cons
Fubo’s pricing is higher than many streaming competitors, especially once you add premium sports packages and extra DVR storage. Monthly fees can climb quickly, making it costly for casual viewers. Frequent plan changes and upsells also create confusion about the true price and which features are included.
Channel availability varies by market, and some local networks and major channels are missing from certain packages. Sports blackouts and regional restrictions can block live games, which is especially frustrating for fans. The result is inconsistent coverage that may force subscribers to keep a separate cable or streaming service.
Fubo’s cloud DVR has limits unless you pay for larger plans, and recorded content can have expiration rules. Simultaneous stream allowances depend on plan tier, leading to conflicts in households. Some users also report app navigation glitches and inconsistent playback on certain devices, impacting the live sports experience.
