Cons
Limited store coverage reduces the app’s usefulness. Fresh Thyme locations are concentrated in the Midwest, so shoppers outside the region can’t take full advantage of features like curbside pickup or in-store digital coupons. This limited footprint also means a smaller product selection and fewer local promotions than national chains.
App performance and navigation can be inconsistent. Some users report slow load times, occasional crashes, and clunky search or filter functions that make finding products difficult. Checkout flow and barcode scanning may feel unreliable during busy periods, which creates frustration and extra time spent resolving order or pricing issues.
Online ordering, delivery, and promo restrictions limit convenience and savings. Delivery availability, time slots, and fees vary by location and often rely on third-party services. Digital coupons and promotions sometimes require manual clipping, exclude sale items, or won’t stack, so advertised savings aren’t always realized at checkout.
