Integrates smoothly with payroll and HR systems, offering employers real-time usage analytics, customizable program settings, and enterprise-grade security and data protections. ONE@Work enables streamlined administration of earned-wage access, employer contributions, and financial-wellness programs, helping companies measure impact, cut manual work, and strengthen employee retention.

Cons

ONE@Work (formerly Even) requires employer participation—individuals can’t enroll directly. That limits access to employees at participating companies and slows adoption. If your employer doesn’t offer the program, you can’t use its earned-wage access, budgeting tools, or employer-funded benefits, reducing its usefulness for many workers.

Withdrawals, instant transfers, or early-pay features may come with fees, transfer limits, or processing delays. Standard bank transfers can still take several business days, and the cost or timing of instant access varies by plan and employer—making budgeting less predictable for users who rely on rapid cash access.

ONE@Work integrates payroll and bank data, which improves features but requires sharing sensitive information. Some users may worry about data security, accuracy of payroll syncing, or how employers use financial insights. Customer support responsiveness and dispute resolution can also be inconsistent, complicating fixes for account or payroll errors.
