Pros
Bitcoin.com Wallet gives you full control of your funds with a non-custodial design—only you hold private keys and a secure recovery seed. Built-in PIN and biometric options protect access, while automatic backup prompts and clear recovery instructions make safeguarding assets simple and reliable for everyday and advanced users alike.
Integrated buy-and-sell features let you convert fiat to crypto quickly using credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, or bank transfers. Transparent pricing, competitive rates and multiple payment options make on/off ramps convenient for beginners and experienced traders, while instant confirmations let you start sending, storing, or trading immediately.
User-friendly design supports Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum and many tokens, plus easy token swaps, portfolio tracking, and NFT compatibility. BCH transactions are especially fast and low-cost for everyday payments, while integrated price charts and notifications help you monitor holdings and market movements without leaving the app.
Cons
Bitcoin.com Wallet's integrated buy/sell services are convenient but often carry higher spreads and third-party fees than centralized exchanges, increasing costs for frequent traders. Users seeking the best price should compare rates or use dedicated exchanges, since the in-app convenience can result in noticeably higher transaction costs.
While Bitcoin.com Wallet supports Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and many ERC‑20 tokens, it lacks native support for numerous major blockchains and advanced DeFi protocols. Power users may find multi‑chain access, staking, and DeFi integrations limited, preventing easy management of assets on networks like Solana, Avalanche, or Cardano.
As a primarily non‑custodial wallet, losing your recovery phrase or device can permanently lock you out; cloud backup options help but require correct setup. Some users also report slow or limited customer support, which can make account recovery and resolving urgent issues frustrating and time consuming.
