Cons

The Best Buy app can suffer from performance and stability issues — slow load times, intermittent freezes, or crashes during checkout. Frequent updates sometimes introduce bugs, and the app can be resource-intensive, consuming battery and data on older phones. These problems undermine a smooth, reliable shopping experience.

Inventory and pricing inconsistencies are common: items may appear in-stock online but are unavailable at the store, or online-only deals don’t apply at checkout. Price matching, BOPIS (buy online pick up in store) availability and shipping estimates can be unclear or outdated, causing frustration and extra trips.

The app’s navigation and search can feel cluttered and inconsistent; filters are sometimes limited and recommendations aren’t personalized. Mandatory sign-ins for certain features, confusing returns or warranty processes, and frequent marketing notifications make browsing less convenient and may deter users seeking quick, streamlined shopping.
