myAT&T

Pros

myAT&T lets you view and pay bills quickly, set up AutoPay, split charges, and access billing history and detailed statements. Paperless billing and payment reminders simplify money management, while secure in-app payment methods and scheduled payments reduce late fees and streamline account finances for busy customers.

Manage lines and devices from a single place—add or remove lines, upgrade plans, transfer numbers, and reorder or activate phones. Built-in troubleshooting tools, live chat with support, Wi‑Fi diagnostics, and appointment scheduling for store or technician visits make device care and problem resolution faster and more convenient.

Track data use and set custom alerts to avoid overages, monitor real-time network performance, run speed tests, and manage hotspot and data add‑ons directly in the app. myAT&T also surfaces personalized offers, promotions, and loyalty rewards to help you save on services and upgrades.

Cons

Frequent login and authentication issues can frustrate users. Two-factor prompts, unexpected sign-outs, and password reset problems sometimes prevent access, requiring web login or carrier support. These interruptions hamper quick account management and can be especially troublesome during urgent situations like outages or service changes on mobile devices and for small businesses.

Billing and payment features can be confusing or limited. Itemized charges, prorated fees, and discounts are not always clearly presented, making it hard to reconcile bills. Some users report difficulty adding or updating payment methods, scheduling auto-pay, or viewing past invoices, forcing them to contact customer support for clarification.

Performance and stability issues affect usability: the app can be slow to load, lag during navigation, or crash during tasks like plan changes. Additionally, certain functions—device upgrades, international plan management, and business or prepaid account features—are reduced or absent, requiring users to rely on the website or phone support.
