Pros
Book and pay in seconds using APCOA Connect. The app lets you search, compare and reserve parking, pay cashlessly with stored cards or mobile wallets, and extend sessions on the go. Where available, automatic entry/exit via license-plate recognition or QR codes eliminates ticket queues for faster, contactless access.
Find available spaces and navigate directly to them with real-time availability, pricing, and turn-by-turn directions to APCOA car parks. Filters help you locate covered spots, accessible bays, or EV chargers, cutting time spent circling for parking and improving trip planning with accurate opening hours and up-to-date capacity information.
Simplify expense management and frequent parking with centralized receipts, parking history, and corporate invoicing options. The app supports multi-location accounts, secure payment storage, and subscription or loyalty features for regular users, making it ideal for business travelers and commuters who need streamlined billing and predictable parking workflows.
Cons
Limited geographic coverage and spot availability: APCOA Connect primarily serves APCOA-managed car parks and may have sparse listings outside major cities or regions where the company operates. Drivers in smaller towns or outside APCOA’s network can find few mapped locations, making the app unreliable as a universal parking solution.
Payment and pricing complexity: The app’s payment system can be confusing — variable pricing, reservation fees, or pay-as-you-go rates are not always clearly displayed. Users report payment failures, duplicate charges, or difficulty switching payment methods, which can result in unexpected costs or hassle resolving billing issues, often with delayed customer support.
Reliability and usability issues: Some users experience buggy behavior: slow load times, crashes, trouble opening barriers due to connectivity or ticket-scanning failures, and inconsistent real-time availability information. Limited in-app customer support and delayed responses make it harder to resolve on-the-spot problems, especially during peak hours when finding immediate alternatives matters.
