Pros
Fast, convenient ordering and pickup/delivery: The Firehouse Subs app streamlines meal ordering with saved favorites, one-tap reorders, curbside pickup and mobile in-app delivery tracking. Real-time store availability and estimated wait times make orders predictable, reducing wait and improving customer experience whether grabbing lunch or scheduling a family dinner.
Generous rewards and app-only deals: Earn points with Firehouse Rewards, redeemable for free subs and sides. The app offers exclusive coupons, birthday treats and personalized promotions based on purchase history. Automatic rewards tracking and digital receipts simplify redemption, making loyal customers feel valued while saving money on every visit.
Easy customization, secure payment and helpful store tools: Personalize subs with toppings and sizes, then pay securely via Apple Pay, Google Pay or saved cards. The app provides nutrition and allergen info plus an intuitive store locator with hours and directions—ideal for dietary planning and effortless ordering on the go.
Cons
The Firehouse Subs app can suffer from slow loading times, intermittent crashes and delayed updates that interrupt ordering. These stability issues increase checkout friction, cause order duplication or cancellation, and reduce trust—especially during peak hours when customers expect quick, reliable mobile ordering for pickup or delivery.
Customization options in the app are limited compared with in-store requests — some modifiers aren’t available, special instructions can be hard to convey, and allergy or detailed nutrition information is sometimes incomplete. This increases the chance of incorrect orders and frustrates users who need precise ingredient control.
The loyalty and payment systems can be confusing: rewards balances, promotions and coupon codes don’t always apply correctly, and redemption rules are unclear. Payment options and third‑party delivery integration are limited in some areas, forcing customers to switch channels or lose promotional value during checkout.
