Pro
1. Comprehensive Database: CAMPS provides a detailed and extensive database of free and budget-friendly campsites across Australia, ensuring users can easily find suitable locations.
2. Offline Access: Users can download maps and campsite information for offline use, which is beneficial in remote areas without internet coverage.
3. User Reviews: The app includes user-generated reviews and ratings, helping campers make informed decisions based on the experiences of fellow travelers.
Con
1. Limited offline functionality: The app's reliance on internet connectivity can make it challenging to access vital information in remote areas with poor or no signal.
2. Outdated information: Users occasionally report encountering outdated campsite details, leading to inaccuracies in location, facilities, and availability.
3. High battery consumption: The app's GPS and mapping features can drain mobile device batteries quickly, necessitating frequent recharging during extended trips.
